CreativeLabTH’s CCL Framework: Insights from Our CEO’s Khao Yai Address

At GSMP Rajsima Wittayalai School in Khao Yai, our CEO outlined the CCL principle that underpins every CreativeLab project:

Communication: Treat data as a living archive—capturing not just facts but feelings and lessons so future generations can build on our experiences.

Curiosity: Design with intentional gaps that spark questions—“How does it work?” “What if?”—because inquiry drives deeper understanding and innovation.

Legacy: Aim beyond solving today’s challenges. Ask, “What will our work mean 200 years from now?” and plant ideas that inspire future civilizations.

He illustrated these concepts with “Co-Dancing Proxenobots,” a performance blending Ramakien dance, 3D-printed proteins, and AI robotics to explore cycles of power, capitalism, and locality—inviting audiences to record, question, and pass on transformative narratives.

This Event is a Public discussion event designed to make Thai political history accessible, social, and personally meaningful. Using the relaxed setting of a craft beer bar, the event invites participants to reflect on Thailand’s political trajectory, with particular attention to the 2017 Constitution, its power structures, and the questions that continue to shape public debate. Rather than treating political history as distant or abstract, the program frames it as something lived, discussed, and negotiated in everyday spaces.

The event combines film screening, guided discussion, and interactive technology. Participants begin by watching Breaking the Cycle, a documentary that examines the emergence of the Future Forward Party, the 2019 general election, and the political logic embedded in the 2017 Constitution.

Following the screening, a moderated conversation titled “Thai History in a Glass of Beer” brings together scholars and commentators to exchange perspectives with the audience. A key feature of the event is the use of a short political matching test via the Vote & Vibe platform, which connects participants with others who share similar political views within the physical space of the café. This design encourages face-to-face dialogue, critical exchange, and social connection.

RS HACKATHON - INNOVATION FOR A BETTER FUTURE

RS Hackathon was the first hackathon organised for students at Ratchasima Witthayalai School, with Synventra serving as the main host of the event. The competition brought together teams of three to five secondary school students, with each team required to include at least one current Ratchasima Witthayalai student.

Participants developed and presented practical ideas or innovations that could address real challenges within the school community, aiming to create workable solutions that could be implemented or further developed after the event.

CIA CreativeLab partnered with Synventra by helping design the event content and delivering a half-day workshop to guide students in developing, structuring, and presenting their projects, offering hands-on mentoring and feedback to strengthen proposals and presentation skills.

    Human Library Session 1 | “ความกล้า มาคู่ความกลัว”

As part of Korat Book Fair #1, Human Library Session 1 invited audiences to explore courage through the theme “ความกล้า มาคู่ความกลัว.” The session reflected on the idea that courage does not mean having no fear, but choosing to move forward while fear is still present. Through personal storytelling, the event opened a space to listen, reflect, and reconnect with the fears that shape their lives.

The session featured three speakers from different paths. Joe Jirapisit revisited the natural courage of childhood and shared how it led him from the private sector into public-sector collaboration, with the ambition of helping Korat move toward the global stage. Belle Ploynapas spoke about students who struggle to see their strengths, while sharing her own brave decision to leave acting and become a vocal coach closer to her happiness.

‘เต้CreativeLab’ shared how a childhood fear of ghosts grew into research being developed for presentation at Harvard, and into the courage to build CreativeLabTH Group as a cross-disciplinary ecosystem. Together, the stories showed that fear is not the opposite of courage, but the beginning of transformation.

The session featured three living books from Korat. Phanu Leksunthon shared his journey as an organizer and creative force behind national-scale events, including his role in developing local media and platforms that help people imagine Korat as a city they can shape together. Dr. Jed Boonyawongviroj brought the perspective of a physician, hospital leader, and health communicator who turns medical knowledge into inspiration that people can understand and apply in daily life.

Oat Siraphop Pongsapthada shared his path from a former military-prep student to the founder of Korat City Lab, using civic action and political imagination to move the city forward. Together, the stories showed how experience can become knowledge, and how each life can become a book worth reading.

“To make AI better is to give them intuition.
But while machines are becoming more humanized,
are we letting ourselves become mechanized
thinking we’ve already mastered what it means to be human?”

Those words resonated deeply across researchers, artists, and industry leaders. Many attendees shared afterward that this talk reminded them why Human–Computer Interaction must never lose sight of the “human” within it. The session became more than a presentation it turned into a reflection on the balance between technology and intuition, between the logic that builds progress and the emotion that gives it meaning.
